What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the museum for its vast and interesting exhibits, particularly the champagne production and archaeology sections. The free English audio guide is a significant plus, making the content accessible. While some found initial exhibits in French, the overall experience is highly regarded as educational and well worth the reasonable admission price.
"Initially I was going to give the museum a "4" because the one area I started in was all in French. The english audio guide they provided gave limited info. A gentleman overhead a comment I made and explained in english the room I was in was for the local growers who may not have experienced some of the major calamities of the past, for example, the 1890's big infestation that wiped out crops and to recognize past challenges have been overcome and to be resilient. As for the other rooms and floors, excellent. A person can also take a break and visit the gardens at the back for free. The only negative I have is they do have places to lock up your back packs but were not pointed out when I purchased my ticket so I had to walk around with my back pack strapped in front of me."
