Many people holiday with their pet so it was a shame that we were unable to walk the promenade but stick to the road to gain access to the town. Understand the reason for not allowing dogs on the beach during the summer season, but why ban dogs on the promenade? Rules could be put in place, to keep dogs on a leash and fines imposed on those who allow their dogs to foul the pavement."
