What Travellers Say

The extensive cycling paths and scenic views are frequently highlighted as major draws. However, some note that certain paid attractions can be expensive and that cash is preferred by some vendors.
"Park around Lac Saint-Jean, parking or bus line near the LaM art museum (do not leave anything in your vehicles), many walks, on foot or by bike, outdoor games for children, small restaurant opposite the playground, restaurants near the LaM, Campanile hotel just nearby, for young and old, beautiful photos to take, herons, coots, ducks, swans... pony club, LaM gardens nearby (access according to timetables) with beautiful works of contemporary art, access by underground passage to the nearby mills"

"Nice park with a playground, but it's not great either. You need to bring change for ice cream, etc.; they don't take credit cards, which is a shame.
The rides are paid; I didn't try them because they weren't great, and they're expensive for what they are.
After the park itself, as you move forward, you'll find a riding center. It's not bad, there are ponies."

"Very beautiful free park, with a grassy and wooded area, and an area with a picnic table. Small free parking lot.
Paid play area for children. 2 refreshment stands, a riding school.
Geese, ducks, swans, coots, moorhens... and all their young can be seen on the water, along with the sounds of many birds.
Cycling, jogging, walking, and strolling are possible.
Enjoy it with friends, family, adults, and children.
Unfortunately, the lake hasn't been cleaned since it was created 30 years ago, so it's mostly full of very smelly silt, and depending on the weather, the air smells bad. Despite the extreme heat, I don't recommend letting dogs swim. From experience, a blond Golden Retriever will come out black and smelly, which is difficult to remove."
