Reviews Summary

Parc du Petit Prince is a charming amusement park, particularly beloved by families with young children under 10 for its gentle rides and manageable size. Visitors appreciate the variety of attractions beyond rides, like the hot air balloon and maze. However, the dining experience is frequently cited as a drawback due to slow service and high costs, leading many to recommend bringing their own food.

"A nice amusement park especially for toddlers and younger elementary-school kids. We visited on a rainy day, the rides were easy to take on without waits. Staff were generally friendly, and there are not only rides but also small zoo, and trampoline ground in this park.

However, older elementary kids might find it a bit boring and it could use more Petit Prince–themed characters and decorations to their theme, I think. But I can definitely say that my family really enjoyed this lovely 'Le Parc du Petit Prince'"

"Great amusement park for kids under 10!
It's big enough to keep them entertained for a day, small enough not to overwhelm them either. I'd say the same for the attractions. My kids are 4 and 6, and they got to do all the attractions (and adult has to sit by each children under 130cm) without being scared!
The only downside is the food.. expensive for the quantity and quality (pack your own!)"

Marjorie Carr Zippert

"It’s a nice little park, suitable for smaller kids. Half of the attractions though are open only at certain time of the day which happens to be the same for all (13:00 or 14:00h) and even if you’re there on time you still may not get a spot.
I’d also advise you to bring your own food and water as the service in the restaurants is dreadfully slow. I’ve never seen angry like this in my life and I’ve visited a lot of theme parks. Also- the coffee is really bad."

In-depth insights and expert knowledge

Navigating the Rides and Attractions

Parc du Petit Prince is designed with younger children in mind, offering a delightful array of gentle rides. Many attractions are suitable for toddlers and kids up to around 10 years old. A key point to note is that for children under 130cm, an adult must accompany them on most rides, which is a common practice in family parks. Reddit This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for the little ones. While the park is big enough to entertain for a full day, it's also manageable, preventing the overwhelming feeling sometimes associated with larger amusement parks. Reddit

Some visitors have noted that older children might find the selection of rides less exciting. However, the park compensates with other engaging activities. The tethered hot air balloon offers a unique perspective and stunning views, weather permitting. TikTok There's also a fun maze to get lost in and a trampoline zone for energetic bouncing. Reddit A small zoo adds to the variety of experiences available, making it more than just a collection of rides. It's important to be aware that some attractions operate on a timed schedule, so checking the park's daily program upon arrival is crucial to make the most of your visit. Reddit

Dining Dilemmas and Smart Solutions

When it comes to food at Parc du Petit Prince, the consensus from visitor reviews is clear: pack your own provisions. Multiple travelers have pointed out that the park's restaurants and snack stands suffer from dreadfully slow service and offer expensive food for the quantity and quality provided. Reddit+1 This sentiment is echoed across various reviews, with many strongly advising visitors to bring their own food and water to avoid disappointment and save money. Reddit

This advice is particularly valuable for families looking to manage their budget and ensure their children have access to food they enjoy without long waits. While the park does offer dining facilities, the consistent feedback suggests that these are not a highlight of the experience. Therefore, a picnic lunch or snacks brought from home is the most practical and recommended approach for a more pleasant and cost-effective day at Parc du Petit Prince. Reddit
