What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Strasbourg Planetarium's immersive dome shows, describing them as amazing and breathtaking journeys through the cosmos. The unique design and modern engineering are also frequently praised. However, some guests noted issues with accessibility, particularly concerning heavy doors and restroom facilities, and a desire for more consistent English translations during shows.
"It was truly amazing and I felt such joy being there. I removed a star because the audioguide was only for half the show and the explanations were only in french :("

"It would have been five star but disabled access let it down.
This is a review for the new Planetarium which opened in July 2023.
The people were lovely and spoke English so we knew exactly what the show would be about, there's a movie at the beginning and we got headsets for an English (American) translation.
The second part is all in French, we knew that beforehand, as it's about stars and constellations you really don't need to know French to understand what they're saying. All in all a fantastic and informative show.
However
I use a wheelchair and was with my wife, any wheelchair user will not be able to access the building on their own as the doors are way to heavy.
The same goes for the toilets, I couldn't open the main door so had to ask for help, then once inside the cubicle I could not lock the door as the locking mechanism was too small and stiff to use.
So a good trip spoiled by bad planning"
