On Wednesday we went to Sarlat and its wonderful market! This is one of the most well preserved medieval towns in France. Whilst you can see lots of modern aspects, the general feel of market day remains unchanged since the 12-13th century! Esté shows us how to use a viewfinder to find compositions amongst the noise (literal and figurative 😅)

"A fresh food lovers’ delight, offering wonderful produce from the Périgueux.. all set within the historic centre every Wednesday and Saturday.."

Leonie Hughes

"Very large market, but was not our favorite market. There's a lots more of stuff vendors than foods and local products. It also feels like lots of the shops have tables at the market. It's a ok market."

C C

"Very disappointing!
Extremely expensive for what you get — it feels like a rip-off. We bought meat, cheese, and foie gras, but it was cheap supermarket-quality at fine food prices. Definitely not worth it. And that’s without even mentioning the overwhelming crowd."
