"Here is the reason why I love Samoëns. As soon as I stepped into this church, my jaw dropped! It is so much romantic and beautiful little church. Every time I visit Samoëns, I insist to come here. Last time I could watch a group of the middle aged style musicians were playing a beautiful songs. The church has a nice echo sound, it made their concerts greater. Such an amazing place!"

"This is a church of beautiful external appearance with a striking clock tower and a dark interior that makes the light stand out through the perfect stained glass windows that can be seen in the side naves and in the apse, it is a beautiful mix of several architectural styles since after being finished in the 13th century it was destroyed in the 15th century and renovated until the 19th century, so for architecture lovers it is a delight to see the mix of Romanesque, Gothic and neo-Gothic styles. Its interior produces what is intended: a peace and silence that penetrates the soul. Wooden benches and an old wooden altar. In its stained glass windows the images of the Holy Family, Jesus giving Peter the keys to heaven, Jesus preaching, Bernadette with Our Lady of Lourdes and of course the image of Our Lady of the Assumption to whom the church is dedicated stand out. The external facade is covered with vines and on all its side walls and the entrance has a solid wooden door of beautiful design. It is a must-see for anyone who steps foot in the beautiful alpine town."

"A very pretty church built in 1167. Destroyed and rebuilt several times, the building is not homogeneous. Its bell tower is the oldest part. Its portal dates from 1555. It is surrounded by two coats of arms. The choir has an original shape with its six sides. A beautiful carillon is displayed at the entrance to the church. It is listed as a historical monument. A must-see."
