"The town of Saint-Étienne is in the south of France and for us was a 3 hr journey from Paris involving two trains. The first departing just before 11am from de Paris Gre Lyon to Lyon Part Dieu and the second from Lyon Part Dieu to St Etienne Chateaucreu arriving after 2pm.
The picture here is one I took of Saint-Étienne's main railway station, known locally as the gare de Saint-Étienne-Châteaucreux, situated in Châteaucreux, a little outside the centre of Saint-Étienne. Being from Melbourne, the tram capital of the world, I was really surprised to see trams here. You can take the tram to get to the town centre."
