"Phenomenal wine (16 year old half-bottle to share between me and my friend), great hospitality and education! We had a fabulous time on the “Iconic Tour.”
Because we stayed at the Hotel de Pavie which shares the same ownership, the hotel transported us to and from the Chateau in their house Bentley!"

"Is 10am Too Early for Wine? Not in Saint-Émilion
Our visit to Château Pavie was one of the most anticipated moments of our Bordeaux wine journey, and a perfect way to wrap it up. We had booked the 10:00 AM tour, and yes—wine tasting in the morning might sound early, but in Saint-Émilion, it felt just right.
The walk toward the reception area was already memorable: vineyards stretching out beautifully, orange trees adding color, and two giant olive trees forming a natural archway at the entrance. Art pieces dotted the landscape, giving the entire place a feel of quiet luxury.
Our guide welcomed us warmly and shared the rich history of Château Pavie, followed by a tour of the wine cellars. The highlight, of course, was the tasting. We tried just two wines, but they completely blew me away:
• 2017 Les Aromes de Pavie
• 2012 Château Pavie
Beyond the exceptional wines, I was truly inspired by the story of the estate’s owner—something about it struck a personal chord, especially as someone new to the wine world. Everything about the visit felt smooth and thoughtfully curated, with a guide who made us feel both welcome and informed.
And just when we thought the experience had peaked, we headed next door for lunch at La Table de Pavie, making this morning one to remember."

"This was the 3rd of our vineyard visits. Our host was passionate and very knowledgeable about the subject. A very enjoyable visit. Thank you."
