What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Carataggio Beach is lauded as a hidden gem and one of Corsica's most beautiful beaches, praised for its stunning turquoise waters and serene atmosphere. While the 15-25 minute walk is a minor hurdle, visitors find it well worth the effort for the secluded and picturesque experience. Some note it can get busy in August, and amenities are minimal, but the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive.
"Nice bay but quite full in august. Water quality is okay and some boats were also there."

"Fantastic beach, well worth the walk. Lovely for swimming and practically empty when we visited in April."

"This was, hands down, the most beautiful beach we visited in Corsica. It’s everything the other reviews say. There’s a naturist area to the left of the beach, there’s snack shack that was apparently closed as at early Sept when we visited (presumably only there in high season) yes it’s about a 25 min walk there - mostly downhill so uphill on the way back, but well worth it and the car parking is at the side of the road and a pay station at the start of the path to the beach. It’s just secluded, quiet, unbelievably beautiful and a must visit if you’re in the area. We had a quick drive by of Palombaggia afterwards and it’s nothing compared to this gem of a beach."
