"An absolutely gorgeous beach... Not one piece of litter or plastic on the beach or in the sea. I have to commend the French for their fastidious efforts to keep their beaches and countryside in general litter free.. They put other countries I've visited and lived in to shame. The North Atlantic beaches are superb in general , the sea is a bit colder than I usually like it, but once you're in the water is invigorating, refreshing and crystal clear... Most surrounding bars, cafes and restaurants I visited are friendly and more reasonably priced than some areas in the South of France... I'd definitely visit again."
