Reviews Summary
Studio Galande offers a unique, highly interactive cinematic experience, particularly with its legendary Rocky Horror Picture Show screenings. While many praise the dedication of the shadow cast and the infectious energy, some visitors find the French commentary challenging and the interactive elements, especially water throwing, to be excessive.
"Saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was a lot of fun to see and head the interactive participants using French with English soundtrack. The audience had a blast."
Randall Wilson
"Saw Panic Babies doing Rocky Horror on a Friday night, as an American who has been going to see shadow casts since I was in high school this show is very different. Since it's not really in French culture to do shadow casts the audience does not know the movie or any callbacks, and so the shadow cast sort of explains and does callbacks the whole movie, they do little skits speaking out loud on stage while the movie is running, they don't really lipsinc or dance which is very different but I understand the vision. You will not get the same experience here as in the US. Me and my friend did our callbacks anyways and we were like the only people making noise for the majority of the film, people didn't even sing along to the music :(
They also throw A LOT of water during the rain scenes and also as a surprise during other scenes, like a lot a lot of water. We brought our umbrellas and used them as sheilds because we would've been soaked.
The cast is really cute though and you can tell that they are having a lot of fun, very endearing people who obviously put a lot of work into the show. I suggest American rocky veterans go to this with all this in mind but only if you speak pretty good French, the show is for French people, my B2 level of French was barely good enough to get what they were saying.
A suggestion for the cast is to not prolong the post movie speech as like everyone is tired and wants to leave and so no one can pay attention."

"IT WAS HORRIBLE. It was the rocky horror picture show and we were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. The film was supposed to start at 9pm.
It started with a 45 minutes delay because of a long intro about the history of the film by a dreams troop of 6 or 7 people. There was some singing and burlesque act before the film even started. Then, they were acting in front of the screen and doing some voice overs of the movie AS it was playing, so you couldn't hear a thing nor see much of the movie.
They were making really vulgar and massively below the belt comments that were NOT appropriate nor related to the film.
And then, worst of all, encouraged by that team, viewers threw rice during the opening, at wedding scene, and water during the thunderstorm scene. I was literally SHOWERED in water and was drenched from my hair to my underwear. My coat, which was resting on the lean of my seat, was fully wet too ! (In the middle of winter ! ) We never had such a bad experience at this movie ever !
We left after the Time Warp song, that is 20 minutes or so after the start.
The guy at the till apologised after he heard why we were leaving so quickly, yet he didn't seem to really care. I wish I had thought about asking him to be reimbursed. I don't mind a little bit of fun and entertainment during this specific film, but this was WAY over the top and nasty. I'll never set foot there again, EVER and I don't recommend you do.
Should you decide to go, you are now forewarned !"
