Went to the Worth exhibit at @petitpalais_musee last week! The dresses were exquisite. I've never seen so many beads and pearls before. Those gilded age ladies really dressed well.

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Petit Palais Paris for its stunning architecture and impressive, free permanent art collections, often calling it a hidden gem. The beautiful garden cafe is a particular highlight, offering a peaceful escape, though some note the immediate area lacks other dining options.

"A young sibling of Grand Palace across street. This place is also a must-see if one is visiting Grand Palace. It has assembled a collection of several art works of several artists - sculptures, paintings, artifacts, etc. It is like a smaller scale of the famous Louvre Museum plus free admission with less crowd. One could easily spend hours after hours to learn throughout the history of each art work and appreciate the works of artists as well as the efforts to collect, maintain, and display to public."

"This building is stunning and worth a visit without all the great exhibitions it holds. I was there for the Charles worth exhibition, which was breathtaking.two minor issues why this beautiful free museum doesn't get five stars and they are small things, one the glass case have a lot of reflections which makes it hard to see detail and second there is construction on going which means some of permanent rooms aren't open. Really recommend it"

"My family and I enjoyed it, it’s so beautiful and free of charge. The paintings and statues were mesmerizing. I genuinely loved the lower floor, the Greek and Roman antiquities. The “Sunset on the Seine at Lavacourt, Winter Effect” by Claude Monet was displayed there!! The staff were nice and friendly."
