What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Paradis Latin offers a historic cabaret experience with dazzling performances, particularly 'L'Oiseau Paradis' by Kamel Ouali. While many praise the show's energy, talent, and unique blend of tradition and technology, some visitors find the seating arrangements for show-only tickets disappointing and the show's dialogue primarily in French.
"I would give less if I could. This was my 4th carabet show, previously 2 of them in Paris ( Lido and Moulin Rouge) and 1 in London.
I honestly do not understand why so many people gave them a good review about the show. It is minimal compared to others.
They give the best seats to the people that book with lunch/dinner. The seats I had, were very bad, with obstructed view.
The show is chaotic, not many costumes, nothing to do with a cabaret show. Even the show I saw in London was better than this. I had to leave after 1 hour and a bit as they were giving pornigraphy vibes ( think Amsterdam, red light district). The only cabaret number that was good, was the trapeze.
I can understand that we are in France, but all the dialogue was in French. Even thoug the majority of the audience were tourists. It would be nice if they would speak less, (as I think people come to see the dancing and the acrobatics), or in English, so all the people could understand.
Total waste of money, I would definitely not recommend."

"Paradis Latin is such a historic and iconic place — you can really feel the energy and charm as soon as you walk in! The show was fantastic, full of life and talent, and it truly feels like time-traveling back to another era. That said, the venue itself could use a few improvements to bring it up to the level it deserves. Overall, a memorable and unique Paris experience! ✨🎭💃"

"I had seen mixed reviews before I booked here and now I know why. The dinner + show option was fully booked so we opted just for the show. The best seats are reserved for those eating so those with dinner only get badly placed seats. We were on the top balcony close to the stage so had a restricted view of the stage and could only see half of it. I spent the entire show having to lean forward just to see anything, I'm pregnant and already have a bad back to that didn't help. Shockingly, there is no bar or drink service so we spent the whole two hours of the show with no drink and thirsty.
The show itself - bizarre, it can't decide which decade or theme it wants to be in, its a mix of comedy (which wasn't funny), naked burlesque women, cabaret, modern disco, robotic dancing. There's no consistent theme throughout which just made show seems disconnected with no flow and unprofessional.. The only act of any talent was the trapeze act. The final cancan at the end wasn't professional and the drag who was a co-presenter wasn't entertaining at all, he was annoying and talked too much, just get on with the performances. For 100 euros, I would save your money or go to a more professional show, we were disappointed and wouldn't return."
