What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Jardin du Luxembourg as a beautiful, peaceful oasis in the heart of Paris, offering a perfect escape from the city's hustle. While its charm is undeniable, especially the iconic Medici Fountain, it can become quite crowded on pleasant weekends, which some find detracts from the serene atmosphere.
"Great park full of greenery and clean spaces — perfect for walking, jogging, or simply relaxing.
There’s a designated area (marked on the map) where you can lay down a towel and enjoy a rest, have a picnic, or even take a short nap.
Overall, I definitely recommend stopping by."
Martin Fitipaldo
"Good place to visit. Lovely gardens with many varieties of flowers. The large pond had many fish. Saw kids playing with small motorised boats. Many benches and chairs to sit. Enjoyed the walk."
tavinder chana
"A beautiful garden with beautiful flowers/plants, and many statues.
There was a wide pond with a fountain in the middle that children can play by renting a miniature sailboat.
The miniature sailboat rent price was €8 for 30 minutes at that time (price can change anytime).
It was a fun activity for children.
They provided many free chairs for anyone to sit.
Some people also brought picnic mats.
There's a free public toilet there, clean and well-maintained (hand soap, and toilet paper were all ready)."
