What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jardin des Halles Paris offers a unique blend of modern park design and historic grandeur, with the striking Saint-Eustache Church as a focal point. Visitors appreciate its family-friendly playground and serene water features, making it a pleasant green escape. However, some reviews mention concerns about maintenance and occasional feelings of unease, particularly in the evenings.
"Nice garden and beautiful church, at least from the outside. The metro station and shopping centre are just in front, and it seems to be a popular place especially on weekends and late afternoon.
During the day, we saw some people that didn’t inspire much confidence, and in the evening it is very crowded. I would be careful around here…
For whatever reason, we saw so many crows here! Interesting."

"I was sitting in this park on a cold Parisian day in my red beret, eating my rotisserie chicken from G20 supermarket, feeling like I was in an Edgar Allen Poe short story. Ravens were flying around a picturesque gothic style cathedral that legit looked like a green screen. It had me feeling like a super villain, or a protagonist moments before the final boss fight. It looked like Ganondorfs crib.
I get why Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald moved out here. My pen was flowing in France, it damn near cured my writer's block. So much inspiration in this beautiful country.
The chicken turned out to be the only decent grocery store bird I had in Paris, and what a glorious place to consume it.
