What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Belvedere de Belleville for its breathtaking, free panoramic views of Paris, especially the Eiffel Tower, and its lively, eclectic atmosphere. It's a great spot for sunset and offers a less crowded alternative to other viewpoints. Some note that treetops can obstruct the view in summer, and advise being aware of surroundings due to occasional low-level drug activity.
"Free view of Paris, unfortunately it is somewhat obscured by the treetops especially in the summer months when they have not shed their leaves.
However, the huge bonus is the lack of crowds. I would not suggest going out of your way to find this view, however if you already are in the area, it would make for a nice stop. The Belleville park itself is also good to visit."

"One of the best spots in Paris for breathtaking views. I enjoyed some delicious pizza while watching the Eiffel Tower light up the night sky — truly unforgettable. Even late in the evening the place was lively, and the atmosphere was fantastic!"
Karbin Kohler
"I had the great pleasure of spending some time in Paris with my love during the summer of 2023. I don't always enjoy large crowds, so I woke up one weekday morning and took a brisk solo walk to this location as the sun was rising and the view took my breath away.
SAFETY NOTE: Even the toughest woman cannot physically overpower a group of men (not pictured). I didn't explore further because of some things I saw that may have been perfectly fine. But I've learned the hard way to not stick around and find out."
