What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Train vapeur du Trieux to be a charming and nostalgic journey through the scenic Trieux valley. While some find it a bit pricey and wish for more commentary, the unique experience of a vintage steam train, especially in the comfortable red-seated coaches, is highly valued. Exploring the picturesque towns of Paimpol and Pontrieux adds to the overall appeal.
"Nice little train ride from Pontrieux to Paimpol and back (Tuesday timetable). Both places beautiful to visit with lots of great shops and things to do. Train was interesting, the coaches with the red soft chairs are nicer than those with the wooden benches, however nice to experience both once. No guided tour however lots of information given in a small ‘newspaper’ style info pack. Recommend getting there early as there are no assigned seats. Worth the trip."
