What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Plage des Ponchettes for its stunning scenery and relaxing atmosphere, finding the pebble beach surprisingly comfortable. The free public access and excellent facilities, including a unique accessible sea entry, are highly appreciated. Some note that it can get crowded, and water shoes are recommended for comfort on the pebbles.
"Wonderful beach to relax and lay out in the sun. Truly stunning scenery on every side. It is filled with smooth pebbles but honestly, it was a lot softer and more comfortable than I thought. We were sitting on the stones with no towel and had no issues. With a towel would've been even nicer.
Can get crowded at times but always can find a spot to enjoy the scenery and the moment."

"Very beautiful beach with pebbles. There is a lot o public space. For every private service with umbrellas and sunbeds to rent you will find the same amount of beach with free acces and served at least with free showers. Approx in the middle of the beach there is also a service free of charge with equipment for handicap people to enter the sea. I believe this is really a great service provided free of charge by the municipality. Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼"

"Bring water shoes, if not get ready for a natural reflexology massage on your feet. Rocky beach, fresh water, beautiful views of Nice."
