What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Porte Jeune serves as a functional, albeit dated, shopping and transport hub in Mulhouse. Visitors appreciate the discount shopping opportunities, particularly at Primark and Normal France, and the convenient central location with parking. However, concerns are frequently raised about the mall's maintenance, cleanliness of facilities, and a sometimes 'shady' atmosphere.
"I was surprised that at the end of March the store would be Christmas-themed, and although some stores were closed, I was glad that I found discounts in the ones that were open."
Sasha
"This is a low income / public housing area. The shopping centre is quite small and lacks maintenance. Christmas decorations are still up as of May 2025. Not enough staff working at Primark (biggest shop here) resulting in long queues."
Miguel Gonzalez
"What a disappointment of a mall! Everything seems dated, broken, and repairs here and there are badly needed. The mall opens at 9 however toilets (there is only one place on the whole mall) only open at 10. When they opened they were not cleaned and stank extremely of urine. Nothing to see here except Primark and some other shops.
Also a lot of very shady folks hanging out in that mall. Only good thing is the location, right in the city center, and the parking."
