Just drove our 9.5m (inc Bikes) motorhome over the Millau Viaduct — what an experience! At 343 meters high, it’s the tallest bridge in the world, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Floating above the clouds in our home on wheels felt surreal — like driving through the sky. "Went to the visitor center, very informative, really enjoyed it. There is a lot of videos on the construction, a model of the pillar construction and an extremely well done interactive show. Even more amazing, it's all free."

"This must be one of the coolest bridges in the world to drive over. It’s very long to drive to from Calais but you must come here at least once, because it’s a masterpiece of engineering. The bridge sits so high there were clouds beneath it.

Just so you’re aware there is no where to stop on the actual bridge. We found the best experience was to drive below it for photos then drive over the top. It takes an hour of driving to get from the bottom to the top where the bridge is with no traffic.

There is a toll but at the time we crossed it only cost about €8 roughly which we think is a bargain to drive over something so cool!!"
