What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise the Quartier des Cordeliers for its stunning 19th-century architecture and central location, making it ideal for exploration. The vibrant atmosphere and abundance of shops and dining options are frequently highlighted as positives. However, some reviews mention that accommodations can feel a bit dated and parking can be difficult.
"The Loches P&V has a million dollar view of the Castle and the Tower in the town square. I recommend asking for accommodations building B or C on the top floor for the best views. Also, the swimming pool is heated - so you can swim in it even when it is cold outside"
Shirley Merkert
"The arrival map given by the residence was difficult to be understood for the parking. The floor of living room was not cleaned properly, protection sheets of the matelas were not clean. The room was really chilly when we arrive late and we had to find out where were all heaters at midnight. We reserved a studio for 2, those 2 beds are really too small for adultes. We could use the sofabed but only twin beds sheets were provided.
The next day morning, the reception asked us how was our arrival, when we mention the map was not clear to find the parking, they were no more interested. They focused clearly and only on our paiment of tax and deposit.
The kit for kitched is really useful for our stay, the opposite is the bathroom, a tiny soap and one toilette paper tube for 2 adultes x 3 nights stay, that was tight.
The heated swimming pool is really nice for this weather. The openning hours were too short: 10am-18h45. Impossible to use for morning workout."

"Excellently situated in the town. Room was great. The only problem - we were located on the 2nd floor up 2 flights of stairs with no lift and our dog was petrified of the stairs (metal stairs that you can see through). Stunning view from the balcony and nice that it is enclosed in glass for the winter. Just about enough parking - the summer could get crowded. There is a beautiful park right outside the main entrance which is a great bonus."
