"Good overall experience. Lots of short dog legs. Occasional hidden water that comes into play off the tee at a few holes. Very average fairway and greens conditions. The greens had been freshly aired and top dressed so were playable but far from perfect. The beautiful photos of the chateau leads you to believe this is a high class, well maintained golf course but it is more of an everyday, friendly place with everyday prices for beer but overpriced coffee (€1.90). I recommend it and suggest a green fee of €25 would be appropriate. I paid €33 by buying a pass giving access to five courses around Tarbes. The first hole passes directly in front of the driving range, so you have to hope you’re noticed. The 17th and 18th have balls from the practice range landing next to the green/tee area. On more than one hole the tee crosses the previous green to reach the next fairway. You have to cross the motorway twice which can be heard from one or two holes. Despite all this, I’d probably play this course again as it is relatively easy to play and somewhat compact. And the staff are nice."
