"It's not 5 stars purely because of the price but it's r star rating is well deserved.
This place is beautiful, unique and its natural conservation of the butterflies and bird species they keep clearly play a key roll in maintaining said species numbers.
However, perhaps it was out of season or lack of funding or interest as to why the gift shop is priced as it is but I decided to buy a butterfly teddy in remembrance of my visit. At €15 euros in my opinion, this was steep. This may well be the going rate but I felt €8-€10 would have been a more suitable price for what I bought of which I have posted a picture.
This was the only blight and what was a lovely educational few hours. The animals and stunning and it is well worth a visit, the admission it self was around €12 so not to bad. But if you want to take something away with be prepared to double that money or substantially add to it for even something quite small."
