What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While the Gordes market is celebrated for its charming atmosphere and local products, some visitors have reported negative experiences with staff at smaller shops in the area, citing rudeness and issues with product quality. However, many also highlight exceptional kindness from individuals, making for memorable and positive encounters.
"Small grocery store but has the essential. The lady running the counter was the loveliest, kindest person."

"This place has the best stuff! I never expected so much kindness from a stranger. When we were in a supermarket, a very heavy rain started and we
were left with no options to how to get to our hotel. There is no taxi service in the area and if you don’t have a car, you are helpless. I asked the cashier if she knows any taxi driver who can drive us to the hotel. She offered to drive us in the middle of her work day and honestly I don’t think that many people would offer this. She saved us from a very heavy rain and made the made the best memory from our trip to France.
Thank you!!"

"Not bad! Cold beer! Could be colder"
