Many highlight the rewarding hiking opportunities and the sense of tranquility. Some note that roads can be narrow and require caution, and public transport access, while possible, requires careful planning.
"Incredibly beautiful national Park, absolutely worth the visit. You can easily take the T75 or T73 buses from Grenoble for multiple public transit only accessible hikes."
RV
"Amazing place. Breath taking views all round. From the summit you can see for miles. The road is wide enough in most places but for most of the length there are no crash barriers. The pass can be closed at different altitudes be means of barriers. You will find many cyclists and motorbikes on this tract. Approach the hairpins with caution and take care of heavy breaking. Not many spots to stop on the way to enjoy the view so stop when ever one finds a clearing."

"Fabulous - amazing place well worth the walk up the valley. Stunning scenery beyond La Barade."
