The staff are frequently commended for their friendliness and willingness to assist non-French speakers with basic English explanations. However, the cave's steps and slippery paths require caution, and the primary language of tours is French, with museum texts also only in French.

"A beautiful geological wonder with fascinating prehistoric remains/artefacts and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. The tour was delivered in English, as many of the tourists were English, which was not expected, but greatly appreciated - although I’d imagine that if you were a native French speaker you might feel a little overlooked. Quite a few steps and some steep, slippery paths so be warned if you struggle on your feet!"
