"cool architecture & interesting art. good place to hide for a bit if the wind of northern "summer" is too much"

"This museum has a very nice collection of contemporary art. When we visited there was a joint exposition together with the other museum just across called Lieu d’Art et Action Contemporaine (Museum of Contemporary Arts). We enjoyed the visit that develops over 4 different floors that mix physical pieces of art, visual and digital art. I haven’t spotted big names but for sure there were many interesting pieces. The museum is modern and well kept. It extends on one warehouse which gives a very impactful atmosphere to the pieces exposed. There are a small bar and shop inside. We visited on the first Sunday of the month and the entrance was for free! Highly recommended when you are in Dunkerque."
