While small, the museum offers a rich artistic and historical experience, with many appreciating the unique setting and the chance to see detailed replicas of famous works. Some note it can become crowded, especially during inclement weather.
"It started raining as we were walking by this museum. As we had no real itinerary to speak of, we decided to duck in and were pleased to find admittance is free. We let the lady at the desk know where we were from and she welcomed us in. While I'm not a huge fan of museums, I always appreciate when they're free. We meandered for a bit, enjoying the various statues. My favorite section was at the back, where the oldest portions of the building can still be seen. Overall, a nice stop if you're just wandering around Dijon."

"Very small but very good museum, considering it's free and on the parcour de la chouette, even if it's not an official stop.
They have a replica or a model for one of the statues on the sides of the Arc de Triomphe, you get to see it up close and really feel how monumental the whole thing is.
The staff knew English and it was easy to navigate, but due to the small proportions and probably the rain, it was very crowded.
I'd recommend going if you have time!"
