"I took the ESNAM exam several years ago (2018), and the more I think about it, the more I realize how problematic the jury's behavior was.
Being autistic (with recognized disability), my teachers advised me to note it in my application so that ESNAM could demonstrate accommodations for the exam.
It seems like it was the only thing written in my application, since I received almost no comments about it (and almost none about my artistic background). Here are the completely inappropriate remarks that some members of the jury made to me: "You don't seem autistic, though," "Why did you mention that? We wouldn't have guessed," "You seem completely normal" (among other things, since it was a long, long time).
Instead of adapting, or simply ignoring my disability, I received a wave of psychophobia. Today I am no longer part of this environment and have no regrets about not having been accepted, however I find it unacceptable and I hope that the medieval mentality of the jury has evolved since then."
