What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Chamrousse is widely praised as a beautiful, well-appointed ski resort with well-priced passes and a good range of runs for all levels. Visitors love its familial atmosphere, excellent snowpark, and stunning sunset views. Some minor concerns include ensuring safety in the snowpark and choosing the right ski instructor.
"Rooms are apparently really similar between themselves, the resort is really familial and the snowpark is amazing. Be careful of your kids on the snowpark, because it's really dangerous, and freestyler are not aware of kids playing or skiing on a place they shouldn't be. Please learn and teach the regular rules on a snowpark, who's similar than a skatepark."

"Chamrousse is a beautiful, well appointed ski resort.
A good range of runs, very well kept surfaces and ski lifts. Ski passes are very well priced with a good range of levels to chose from, to suit the beginner and advanced skier or snowboarder - and everyone in between.
The ski instructors are very friendly, patient and David, who taught our children, spoke English well and made jokes that made them feel relaxed and included.
For non-skiers there's tobogganing, with dedicated runs; walking along several forest and mountain routes; the choice of many bars, cafés and restaurants; 'Nordic Skiing'; and a large cable car that can take you straight to the top of the peak with views across the valley and mountains.
We've had a wonderful half-term here and can't wait to return, winter or summer season!"

"Love this mountain - in summers, in winters all through.."
