It doesn't look like much from the outside; no one would think the interior is incredible, and yet… the contrast between its austere exterior and its rich, opulent interior is breathtaking. A choir made of real marble (it's often stucco!), a painting by Rembrandt or Van Eyck, moldings reminiscent of Hautecombe Abbey, a soothing blue in the paintings, a sculpted, unpainted dove, and a Carrara marble Pietà—a truly rare find. It surpasses even Chambéry Cathedral in beauty."
