"For those passionate about photography, this place is a must if you are passing Chalon Sur Saone (just off the A6 motorway). A superb collection of images, cameras tell the story of photography in the place where the 1st ever image was captured by Niepce. The layout is intelligent and interesting and they have a wonderful library of books for sale at the conclusion of your visit. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in this art... and access is free."
