Reviews Summary
Piantarella Beach is celebrated for its breathtakingly clear turquoise waters and the unique sandbank leading to Île Piana, making it perfect for wading and snorkeling. While many praise its beauty and water sports opportunities, some visitors note an unpleasant algae smell, particularly in late August, which can detract from the experience.
"Just perfect!! I was amazing how cristal clear that water is!! Perfect for snorkelling and relaxing. What ales I can say just check it out your self!!"

"We walked through this beach on our way to two others that you can only reach by passing through here. It was quite a challenge, mainly because of the awful smell coming from the algae, heated up by the sun. The stench from both the nearby pond and the muddy beach itself was unbearable—just holding your nose wasn’t enough, and it really made you feel nauseous.
I have no idea how some people managed to sit there in their tents, but most seemed to be heading out by kayak or enjoying other water sports. Maybe it’s different at other times of the year, but in the second half of August, the smell was simply horrifying. It was bad enough that we didn’t go back the next day, even though the beaches you reach by this route are supposed to be beautiful."

"The beach itself is very beautiful. You can cross to the next "island" by walking 5 minutes in the water or rent a kayak. There is nothing on the other side, no bars or restaurants. The beach and the view is breathing. A lot of fish and clean water. Very nice experience"
