What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Patriarche Cellars for its impressive historic underground cellars and the excellent value of its wine tasting experience. While some note it's more focused on sales than deep wine education, the affordability and the opportunity to sample a variety of Burgundy wines make it a highly recommended stop for many.
"Self guided tour and tasting for 25 euros. Fantastic cellars, well laid out with informative video stations. For the tasting of 6 wines at the end Leane was professional and knowledgeable. We bought quite a few wines so maybe think about giving part of the initial fee back?"

"This was hands down the absolute best vin degustation we have ever attended. Strongly recommend the privilege tour, but I truly believe that our guide, Murielle, was what made this experience exceptional. The tour of Les Caves was incredible. The wine was incredible as well. Add this to your list of “must do” wine tours while in Burgundy!"
Amberleigh Osborne
"I went to the champagne cellar in Reims and for this one. Erm…. To start with, this is so much cheaper, so if you are here to experience and wanna to taste different wine, 25Eur is worth the price. But to understand and learn more about wine making maybe this is nothing at all.
We tasted 3 whites, and 4 reds, and we tasted beyond what was on the list. The staff will roughly tweet the type of wine for you to taste depending the type of profile you like. I think is more a selling and promotion of wine for sales nothing wrong.
More wine to taste when you walked out of the underground cellar. So for people who really want to try at an affordable price. Recommended.
After tasting, you can bring back with you the tasting glass with the Patriarche label on."

Exploring the Historic Cellars
The self-guided tour is designed to be informative yet flexible. Visitors can wander through the vaulted passageways at their own pace, stopping at video stations that offer insights into the history of the cellars and the Patriarche family's legacy. This approach allows for a more personal experience, letting you absorb the ambiance without feeling rushed.

The Patriarche Wine Tasting Experience
Reviewers often note the value for money, especially when compared to other wine tasting experiences. Some visitors even mention tasting beyond the standard list, indicating a willingness from the staff to accommodate.

However, for a delightful introduction to Burgundy wines in a historic setting, it's highly recommended.
