Port de Carteret is appreciated for its upgraded marina and exceptionally helpful staff, making it a pleasant stop despite the tidal considerations. Visitors enjoy the charming village and the vibrant local market, though the distance to facilities is a recurring point.
"Fantastic marina once you understand the tides. The upgrade is wonderful and when the new facilities block is complete it will be a 4 star marina. We encountered a problem with our yacht and had to stay for over a week. The staff were incredibly helpful assisting us with the logistics of having the boat lifted, accommodation, car hire etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will return"
