Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the stunning coastal views and the historical significance of Fort Carré, highlighting the beautiful Mediterranean scenery and panoramic vistas. However, some find the terrain challenging for strollers and recommend caution in the evenings due to the rocky paths.

"A nice place for a quick walk around the Fort Carré of Antibes. With views of the sea, the bay till Nice and the snow on the mountains. The Fort is also nice to visit"

Francesco Cerlini

"There are two rout up to this fort. You can wonder down to the beach at one side and there is a trail up, this is not steep at all. Or you can go to the port and there is a little hidden trail up. This is much steeper and longer than the other way, but the view much more better!I do not recommend either route with a stroller. Fort Carré is in relatively good condition. If you are in town I reccomend to visit it, it's unmissable site to see. There is a little museum downstairs inside with information boards, you can watch them in 30 min. I reccomend to pay for guided tour, because in that case they lead you upstairs to see the other parts and the view and they tell the story of the fort. If the whether is windy or there is too much heat, the siteseeing will be difficult up there, take off your hat, bring sunglass, water and sunscreen cream. Note this: there is no toilet up there in the fort!"
