The dogs were full of energy and chomping at the bit to get going. At first, they seemed a bit aggressive, but we were reassured it was just pure excitement. Once we took off, you could really feel their power and enthusiasm forging ahead. The sleds move fast with the huskies leading the way, and cruising across the frozen lake was a moment in time I will never forget!
I'm so glad I dressed warmly in layers with reliable snow boots. It was cold out there but I was prepared! They also had a room filled with everything you could possibly need to stay warm, puffy suits to put over your clothes, socks, boots, gloves, blankets, and more!
The tour leader was incredibly passionate, sharing her knowledge about every aspect of dog sledding from grooming and training to the dogs' careers on the team and their well-earned retirements. It’s clear these dogs are well loved and very well cared for by the staff. It was an amazing experience I’d highly recommend!"

"Absolutely sensational - 24 on our bus including a couple of people with mobility issues, & it went great.
On arrival taken to a clothes room where we got heavy duty warm coveralls, warm boots & gloves & space to leave items.
Then split into groups of 4, for a 5km sled ride across a frozen lake behind a 11 dog team who loved it.
After finishing, we then got to feed some treats to the huskies & give them a pat. We also had a tour of the kennels & informed of how it all works & the dogs life.
Everybody we dealt with were great - the musher was very informative as we proceeded.
The farm was snowy & wooded & it was a great experience."
