What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Orinoro Gorge for its stunning natural beauty and well-maintained trails, offering a peaceful escape into Finnish wilderness. While the lack of services is noted, most find it adds to the authentic experience. The opportunity for blueberry picking and the scenic gorge itself are consistent highlights.
"We had fun. It was pretty enjoyable. Even though we went on Mayday, there was still snow around, keep that in mind. It took us 4 hrs to complete the whole trail. We also met a really friendly family while hiking, they helped us with directions, mostly there is no need for directions but we were confused and almost everything was in Finnish and my Finnish is not good enough to understand, that's why we had to ask 😅"

"Worth a hike. The gorge is beautiful. The trail is well maintained and marked down pretty well. The trail is not difficult and at ca 8km we spent there 3,5h just enjoying the scenery. Some parts of the trail go through muddy/wet/swampy regions, proper shoes recommended although not required.
Beware of MosKiitos! 😆"

"Beautiful nature sight. No services what so ever, so do not expect restaursnts / amusement. Take your own food with you if you need any. Remember to bring your rubbish with you when you leave. I guess there are operators that organize trips here, but you would need to prebook.
This is in Finland, so do not expect a mountain, but something smaller. Nature is beautiful, track is in good condition and easy to walk. The gorge is definitely worth the 7km walk. For us in moderate condition it took 2h. But one could easily spend lot more time just enjoying the nature."
