"In year 2025, there is no need to run a diesel generator to produce electricity! AND there is also no need to burn trash (smell is not nice)! AND there is also no need to produce warm water by burning gas.
I absolutly agree with other reviews, renovation is needed 10y ago! food is ok, dont expect to much after reading the other reviews, hahaha
By the way, the windows doesnt have any mosquitto protection & there is also no glass. Soo, we use 40% more diesel to cool down the rooms - amazing!
And there is no water in the rooms for the most time of the day, but enough energy for A/C!

"We had the best time ever at Treasure Island Resort — truly a dream holiday for our family.
The beach is simply stunning. The water is crystal clear, calm, warm, and perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just floating the day away. Despite the resort being quite large, it’s nestled on a small island, which gives it a wonderfully peaceful, exclusive feel.
But what really sets this place apart? The people. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with music and warm smiles. The staff are incredibly friendly, humble, and always happy to help. They made us feel not just like guests, but part of their beautiful island culture — through music, storytelling, and cultural shows.
The Kids Club was a game-changer for us. Liz, the lovely young lady running it, took such good care of our little ones with fun and creative activities. It gave us the chance to unwind and enjoy some well-deserved adults-only time.
The resort offers plenty of activities and equipment for guests: snorkeling gear, kayaks, and even boat tours. There’s never a dull moment, unless you want one — and then it’s the perfect place to relax.
The food was delicious, with a buffet breakfast and à la carte options for lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the variety offered by the teppanyaki restaurant and BBQ nights, available on request.
The pool is beautiful, designed to blend into the natural surroundings, and overlooks the ocean. It’s great for all ages — safe for kids but relaxing for adults too.
Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious. It had both air conditioning and a fan, and was cleaned and refreshed daily. We stayed in a lovely bungalow with both garden and ocean views, and every bungalow comes with at least one hammock — perfect for an afternoon nap or a quiet moment under the palms.
The spa was another highlight. The therapist was professional and friendly, and the treatments were exactly what I needed to unwind.
It’s also reassuring to know that there’s a nurse available on the island. While the service is an added cost and not cheap, it’s a great peace-of-mind option, especially with kids.
Treasure Island Resort is ideal for families, with so many thoughtful touches and activities for little ones. But it’s just as perfect for couples looking for a romantic, relaxing escape in paradise"
