My first impressions visit this Orthodox rock church. Good warm up for Lalibela, the most famous rock church in Ethiopia. The Adadi Mariam Rock-Hewn Church is located between Tiya and Melka Kunture, 13km away from the main road into the countryside. Needed to pay $10 USD entrance fee which was a bit funny but it was worth it. Very mysterious feel to this place, I had totally different expectations...
