Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Peter the Great House Museum for its affordable entry, knowledgeable and passionate guides, and the authentic historical artifacts. Many find it a charming and informative experience, especially when combined with a visit to Kadriorg Park. Some reviews mention that tours can sometimes feel a bit long or focus on mundane details, but the overall sentiment is highly positive.

"My friend and I visited this museum during our short trip to Tallinn, and I was very impressed with my experience here. For such a seemingly small building from the outside there is quite a lot to see. The fee was very cheap and there is no need to book in advance.

We essentially had a guided tour across the museum led by a passionately enthusiastic lady who was very sweet and told us a lot about each item and how they were used by Peter. She answered many of our questions and spent the time checking our answers on a leaflet of questions we both filled out.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience from the building to the staff and the history found within. I would greatly recommend travellers to make your way over to Kadriorg Park to spend an hour or so in the museum, and why not look around the park afterwards as well as it is peaceful and beautiful."

Tomas Pheby

"A cozy historical place of Peter the Great. You can take a look at the furniture and learn some things about the emperor.

The only downside is that the guide “forced” us into a tour. It was a little bit awkward since the guide herself was shy and went on and on about very mundane facts. We planned to be there for a shorter amount of time. Most of the useful information you can read is on the tablets."

Cyber Desman

"The best museum we visited all trip. All the artifacts are carefully chosen and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Would absolutely visit again!"
