What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for accommodations in Zona Rosa are mixed. While the location is frequently praised for its proximity to dining and nightlife, and staff are often described as friendly, concerns about cleanliness and maintenance are recurring. Some guests found rooms to be dated and not well-kept, with issues like poorly maintained pools and the occasional pest sighting. The breakfast is generally considered basic. Despite these drawbacks, the area's vibrancy and convenience keep some visitors returning.
"Nice place, friendly staff. Would be good if you had a group as there’s a swimming pool, barbecue, table tennis, trampoline. The breakfast is basic and quite small but tasty. Everything else is quite overpriced like laundry etc. it’s close to the supermarket and a few food options"
Joshua Dixon
"It’s fine but a little off the main area (10-15 minute walk to restaurants). Hard to find someone to check in. Missing window in bathroom so room unable to be secured well - does have security always though so this wasn’t an issue. Overall, I would have paid the extra $5-10 a night to stay closer to museum and restaurants."
Nicky
"We booked this hotel based on the pleasant pictures online, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the expectations. We arrived at midnight, so changing hotels wasn’t an option, but we quickly noticed that the place was a bit old and not as clean as it should have been. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, and the pool was also not well-maintained.
The included breakfast was the same every day, which got repetitive. To make matters worse, we found a cockroach near the bed after staying a day, which was quite unsettling.
On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff were very polite and friendly, which helped make the stay a bit better. The location is also great, which is the main reason we decided to stay for an extra day.
Overall, while the staff and location were good, the cleanliness and maintenance need significant improvement."
