This is the smallest temple of the five seen and is also incomplete as it was constructed by Rome.
This is the only temple in Egypt with a spiral staircase which is behind a locked gate."

A Roman Endeavor in Nubia
One of the most intriguing features of the Temple of Maharraqa is its spiral staircase. This is reportedly the only one of its kind found in an Egyptian temple, highlighting Roman engineering prowess. However, visitors often find this unique element behind a locked gate, making it inaccessible for exploration. Despite this, its presence adds to the temple's historical intrigue and its status as a noteworthy, albeit unfinished, Roman monument in Nubia.
