On sunny day, one has an excellent view of valley, almost a gorge between two mountains. Guapulo is an old colonial village, about 250 years old from the time of the conquistadores.
The most prominent structure of village is the Monastery, with its Byzantine dome.
This is a good stop from the UIO airport just at the entrance of Quito’s business district."
