"There are several parts to this park. They have a museum and after a little hike or ride up the hill, they have tours available explaining things about the land, culture, people who loved there centuries ago. The people are informative and nice. You can pay extra to have a guide take you over the mountain to the other side of "el cerro", what you can find there ranges from wild life to different types of climates. I have been there twice and plan on returning a third time soon. Enjoy."

"The museum has signs also in English. It has interesting pieces and one burial ground. It could easily be done alone but it seems impossible to avoid a guide. There is no entrance fee but if you want to drive in you are finally forced to take up a guide. Mine was very nice, even though she spoke no English. At least she spoke slowly. They have restored or rebuilt some houses and staged a meeting of chiefs.
A bit quaint but still interesting. At that level you can see the first excavation site. Due to the heat I stopped the climb there. More could be seen further up the mountain.
If you are in the region it's worth a detour."
