Make sure to visit Modesto Hats, they have the nicest store on the strip, they make there own hats and they finish them there too. They also have all of the different qualities from average to medium to good. Unfortunately the museum is no longer open, I’m not sure why."

It has a nice, small museum and a mausoleum for Eloy Alfaro Delgado. Montecristi is a pretty town. We bought one of their locally-made from paja-toquilla. Photos of the plaza, church, hats, ciudad Alfaro."
