"A Must-See in Baños — Stunning Views and Deep Meaning.
The view from La Virgen de Agua Santa Lookout is absolutely spectacular — no trip to Baños is complete without visiting this spot. The hike is relatively short but very steep, so expect a workout. Go light, bring water, and take your time — the stairs are worth every step.
Beyond the scenery, this place carries deep spiritual meaning. Standing here and seeing the church below, you can imagine the devotion and faith it took to build it — workers carrying every stone and material by hand. It’s a true testament to La Virgen, who watches over Baños and continues to inspire faith and miracles to this day.

"Brilliant view of the city but the walking route is not through the cemetery, where Google maps states you should go. this route is closed. Instead leave the cemetery, continue straight for about 100 yards & take your first street on the right hand side. This will take you to the correct path up a staircase. The walk up takes around 30 minutes for fit people."
