"The entire tour was awesome. Be prepared to walk. Have a bottle of water and shade hat sunscreen and everything doe your comfort. My friends and I had our sneakers and back packs. We started from the beach side and walked through the town. You get to see the people in their own setting. The history behind every single building is awesome, really marvelous. David, the tour guide was good. He spoke in both Spanish and English. It was a lot to see... but it is appreciated.
The cathedral was holy and sincerely a sight to behold. The prayer area and benches were excellent. The museum was spectacular. The ceiling roof painting was great. It showed the great history of Santo Domingo and the colonial area. The 1500 era history is a something else. Most of the people of Dominica Republic are awesome, kind even though I don't understand the language I was helped. I will definitely be revisting these places. The Christabol was very informative. The women street has a nice history. The guard at the museum were precise in the actions in their moves in their walks."
