Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Malecón de Samaná to be a pleasant and free place for a seaside stroll, offering beautiful bay views and a chance to see marine life from the nearby bridge. It's a good starting point for boat tours, though some note there isn't much to see directly on the Malecón unless taking a trip. The local atmosphere is generally appreciated.

"This is a great place to visit for a free activity. There is a beautiful beach just before the bridge. There's a bar and restaurant on that beach. If you want to walk the bridge to the islands. Be aware there are 2 flights of stairs in each section. One of which is pretty steep with no railing. It is safe for adults and children. Someone with disabilities or issues walking would have a hard time. I saw so much sea life from the bridge. I saw an octopus, a stingray and many large starfish."
